Calling All Volunteers!

Work Bee Pre Show Clean Up April 5, 6 and 7

It’s now that time where we need to get the Langley Riders grounds ready for the exciting show season ahead. This is when we call upon our members to step up and volunteer their time to help Langley Riders be the riding club people want to join. Remember volunteer hours are part of your membership requirements. This is one way to fulfill those hours as well as during shows.

Please see below just some of the items we will be tackling but not limited to. There is lots to do.

Please email us at info@langleyriders.com to get in touch with our Volunteer Director, Sinem Sherriff, to let us know which days you will be attending and if you have any special skills we can utilize.

Thank you for your support. Langley Riders Society is defined by its amazing members.

 To-Do List:

-Clean, repair and paint sign on 208 Street (weather permitting)

-Redo water line connections on line coming down the hill to the South. Requires minimum plumbing skills. Would be best done before we turn on the water for summer use.

-Thoroughly clean and paint upper bathrooms.

-Clean lower bathrooms

-Clean out the announcer's booth, including window cleaning.

-After metal is hauled away, build a cover over that area so that props for Challenge events can all be stored in one spot.

-Clean out the container after the room is made for Challenge props in their own area.

-Grounds landscaping

-Grass mowing

-Concession/Kitchen clean

-Changeover/Installation of new jump cups (drilling involved)

These are just some of the items needing to be done.  As always we appreciate your contributions!
