2010 MEMBER FORM

Dear potential Langley Riders Member:

Langley Riders Society is a non profit organization that is run and maintained by volunteer membership. That means, we are counting on our membership to help out at various Langley Riders events and also some help with ground keeping, i.e. lawn mowing or repairs.

Membership fees for the year are: $45.00 single and $60.00 for a family.

If you are joining Langley Riders Society, you will be required to deposit 2 separate $100.00 postdated cheques per family or single membership, dating July 1^st, 2010 and October 20^th, 2010. This is a retainer for your required help which consists of:

8 work hours (4 of which are due before July 1^st. )

2 work bees of min. 2 hours each (1^st. bee completed by July 1^st.)

PER Family, or single membership! (a family consists of 2 or more members residing at the same mailing address.)

After completion of first half volunteer hours and 1 work bee, the 1^st. deposit cheque will be destroyed or returned. 2^nd deposit cheque will be returned or destroyed after remaining work hours and bee are completed. (Anyone i.e. friends or family may complete the work hours or bees for you) If work hours are not completed, the cheque will be cashed.

No Member will be allowed to ride in any event (as a member) until postdated cheque is received.

There are many benefits to joining the club, besides reduced show fees and the use of the arena during off times.

We have year end Awards with many great prizes and a fun banquet, as well as participation in local parades, the Langley Riders Drill Team and a Royalty contest.

For your convenience, we are listing a copy of the membership forms.. We would ask all members to sign up when renewing your membership. Volunteers will be made up of a number of members for each work bee offered, on a first come basis.
